<p>Fawcett&#8217;s death was confirmed by Paul Bloch, one of her representatives at Rogers and Cowan, an entertainment public relations firm.</p>
<p>Fawcett, who checked into a hospital in early April, had been battling anal cancer on and off for three years.</p>
<p>Bloch told CNN that Ryan O&#8217;Neal, Fawcett&#8217;s romantic partner since the mid-1980s, and her friend Alana Stewart were with Fawcett at Saint John&#8217;s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, when she died.</p>

<p>The veteran TV personality best known for his nightly introduction of Carson in a deep, booming voice with the drawn-out line, &#8220;Heeeeeeeeere&#8217;s Johnny!&#8221; died at a Los Angeles-area hospital, and was immediately hailed by friends and former colleagues as an icon of American popular culture.</p>
<p>&#8220;He died early this morning with his wife and loved ones by his side,&#8221; his spokesman Howard Bragman said. McMahon had been battling pneumonia, among many other illnesses.</p>
<p>Outgoing, affable and possessing a robust, baritone voice, McMahon began his career with stints as a bingo caller, carnival barker and boardwalk pitchman before becoming a broadcast announcer and TV host.</p>

He was 75.</p>
<p>DeLuise died Monday night, son Michael DeLuise told KTLA-TV and radio station   KNX on Tuesday. The comedian died in his sleep after a long illness. Calls to   his agent were not immediately returned.</p>
<p>The actor, who loved to cook and eat almost as much as he enjoyed acting,   also carved out a formidable second career later in life as a chef of fine   cuisine. He authored two cookbooks and would appear often on morning TV shows to   whip up his favorite recipes.</p>
